The bilingual students of 1º ESO have been acting out Shakespeare's play "A Midsummer Night's Dream".

ORDERING IN A RESTAURANT

You have been learning how to order a meal in a restaurant and you have prepared your own restaurant role-plays.

You have done it quite well!!!.

FUNCTIONAL LANGUAGE

The waiter/ waitress

- Are you ready to order?

- What can I get you?

- What would you like ( to drink)?

- And to drink/ for dessert?

The customer

- I'd like.... / I'll have ..., please

- Can I have ...?

- Is there any ...?

- Does it come with ...?

- Can we have the bill, please.

WRITING A RECIPE

• Write a recipe using the verbs and sequencing words we have studied.
• Don't forget to write the ingredients.
• Be careful with spelling, grammar and punctuation.
• If you need more verbs have a look at these!!!!

READING BOOK

"HOW TO SURVIVE THE WORLD'S COLDEST CLIMATES"

We are going to read this book in the English lesson on Mondays and in the geography lesson on Wednesdays.

We are going to find out more about the physical features of the world's coldest places and how people survive and live in these environments.

There's also a glossary and real-life stories.

Make a digital poster or a mind map presenting information about you and your life.

- Write about you, your family, your friends, your favourite things and your free time activities.

- Include photos and pictures.

- Don't forget to check your spelling.

- Use capital letters for the names of people, places...

- Use the useful language on page 45 of your student's book.

- Look at the examples on pages 44 and 45 of your student's book.

- Deadline: 15th. January 2016.
