THANKSGIVING

In the United States "Thanksgiving Day" is a holiday on the fourth Thursday in November. It precedes Black Friday.It is traditionally a day for families and friends to get together for a special meal. The meal often includes turkey, stuffing, potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy, pumpkin pie, and vegetables. Thanksgiving Day is a time for many people to give thanks for what they have.
This year is celebrated on November 22nd.

BLACK FRIDAY

Black Friday is an informal name for the day following "Thanksgiving Day" in the USA which has been regarded as the beginning of the country's Christmas shopping season since 1952.

GUIDELINES

• Creating a blog-portfolio will be your first project for this term. The blog will be a tool to improve your oral and written skills.
• You were taught the main instructions in the English lessons (the teachers Cristina and Isabel are teaching you how to do it) and now it's your turn to set up your own blog.
• The blog should have: your name, the name of the secondary school, a photo of our school on the right, the link of your teacher's blog, the date, and the first entry.
• When your blog-portfolio is created, don't forget to send the link to your teacher's email address.
• Your ART TEACHER will help you with the colours and the aesthetic of the blog.
• REMEMBER: everything has to be written in English.
• BE CREATIVE AND DO YOUR BEST!
