A NEW PROJECT

A BIOGRAPHY
- Choose a character you like or admire. It has to be someone who isn't alive.
- Look for information about him/her and then design a powerpoint or prezi presentation with some details of his/her life: name, date and place of birth, job, marriage, children, personality, important events, date of his/her death...
- This project has to be done in pairs.
- You can't read it, try to learn it by heart (you can have a look at the dates).
- Be careful with the spelling and the pronunciation of the past simple of the regular verbs.
- In this project your English teacher will evaluate not only your oral skills but also the written information.
- Your teacher will check the information before you present it so send her the written project before MAY 3rd..
- Your presentations will begin on MAY 10th.
- Write an entry in your teacher's blog and say the classmate's name you are going to work with and the character you have chosen and why.

This new project has to do with improving pronunciation. Read the following instructions to do it:

- Firstly, write a comment on your teacher's blog with the pages you are going to read and record and write your opinion about this project.
- It is an individual project.
- Each student will be given the pages that he/she has to work on.
- You´ll have to listen to the audio of the book "ALL ABOUT BRITAIN" as many times as you need and then practice reading aloud to improve pronunciation and intonation.
- When you think you are ready, read aloud and record it.
- Pay attention to the punctuation and read slowly.
- When it is finished, email the audio to your teacher.

The project is called "THIS IS ME" and these are the GUIDELINES:
- This is an individual project.
- Make a digital poster or a mind map presenting information about you and your life.
- Don't forget to check your spelling.
- Use capital letters for the names of people, places, months.
- Use To Be, To Have got, The Present Simple, adverbs of frequency, There is/There are, Connectors, Prepositions...
- Don't upload personal photos.
