A NEW PROJECT
Thanksgiving

In the English lesson we are reading about special events and festivals around the world: The Cherry Blossom Festival, The Onam Festival, The Dragon Boat Carnival and the Hogmanay.

As you know, in a few days American people will celebrate Thanksgiving, so this is about the new project.

- Make pairs or groups of three.
- Look for information about Thanksgiving.
- Make a Powerpoint presentation of six slides explaining this celebration: the origins, the way American people celebrate it, typical food, special events in that day and so on.
- Deadline: 26th. November.

I HOPE YOU ENJOY THE PROJECT !!!!!!!

PICTURES WITH JESSICA

Here you are some of the pictures of you all with Jessica, the American teacher assistant.
She has been teaching at our school during this school year and this is her last week.
Thank you for the lovely drawings you have made for her !!!!

YOUR CHILDHOOD

The end of the school year is getting closer and nowadays we are dealing with past tenses, so this is the reason why you are going to put in practice all you have learnt making a presentation about your childhood.

To make it properly, take into account these rules:
  • Select pictures of you when you were a baby up to now.
  • Use as many slides as you want but remember you only have three minutes for your whole presentation.
  • Present your Powerpoint to the rest of the class and explain what you did in the pictures you have chosen. Your classmates can ask you some questions.

ENJOY IT AND DO YOUR BEST!!!
